AK Native Artist Residency: Selina Alexander

Selina Alexander is a Koyukon Athabascan artist who creates with caribou tufting, porcupine quillwork, and beading. She is the SJM Native Artist in Residence from May 2 – 20, 2026. She will offer an artist talk and a 2-day caribou tufting workshop during her residency. Selina is a returning artist. She was also an artist in residence in October 2023 as well as in 1995 and 2012.
