Whippoorwheel Studio is owned and operated by Tammy Judd Jenny. She is an artist, potter and graphic designer living in beautiful Sitka, Alaska. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2001.
For many years Tammy worked full-time day jobs and did pottery on the side. In December 2021, she left her day job to focus on her art.
Primarily a potter and ceramic artist, Tammy also paints and does freelance graphic design.
When Tammy is not working with clay, she enjoys spending time with her husband, going for walks with their two dogs, taking photographs, drawing, doodling with watercolors, playing music and singing.
