New Economic Relief Programs

Tlingit & Haida has launched nine new relief programs for tribal citizens who are registered to the voting community of Sitka, plus additional programs in other Southeast Communities.

CCTHITA  received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds in 2021 from the US Treasury to help turn the tide on the Coronavirus pandemic and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery. Several programs have been developed to provide direct relief assistance to tribal citizens and tribal citizen-owned small businesses that have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
